A tick coming from the top of the engine is most likely a bad lifter which are integral to the rocker arms. Although its less common on a 2010 there have been some issues with rocker arms on the 35. If you have a tick from the top end then most likely it will need to have at least one of the valvetrain actuator assemblies replaced.
